  1. Data resource: Invasive Species Ireland

All species listed on Invasive Species Ireland, managed and maintained by the Invasives Species team from the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs. Invasive Species Ireland was a joint project between the Northern Ireland Environment Agency and the National Parks and Wildlife Service which ended in March 2013. However, both organisations still work closely together relation to invasive species issues which concern the whole of the island of Ireland.

  2. Data resource: Invasive species test

  3. Data resource: Inverness Badger Survey 2003 - Roadkill information 1999-2003

Records of 67 reported badger road kills within approximately 66 sq km study area to the south and east of Inverness during the period 28 December 1999 to 03 November 2003, the great majority along the A96 road east of the city.

  4. Data resource: Inverness Badger Survey 2003 - Sett information

Within a survey area of approximately 66 sq km to the south and east of Inverness, a total of 191 badger setts was found, including 33 extant main setts. Each of the latter is synonymous with a distinct badger social group.

  5. Data resource: Invertebrate Common Standards Monitoring and ISIS Test Data

This dataset represents an accumulation of invertebrate records from both common standards monitoring (CSM) and the testing of ISIS (Invertebrate Species-habitats Information System).

  6. Data resource: Invertebrate data from Selected Grazing Marshes

This dataset consists of invertebrate records from grazing marshes surveys that have, up until now, been held as spreadsheets with Natural England and were pooled into a spreadsheet in 2016. Some of this survey work is quite recent (2005), but the Walland Marsh survey dates back to 1982.

  7. Data resource: Invertebrate records from sites that are mainly across Scotland

Scottish Invertebrate records collected and collated by Buglife staff and volunteers (mainly Scottish locations in this dataset).

  8. Data resource: Invertebrate Site Register - England (1738-2005)

Dataset of information on the site-based occurrence of scarcer British and strongly habitat-associated terrestrial and freshwater invertebrates. It has gathered data from a wide variety of often scattered sources, synthesized it to produce readily accessible information for use in all facets of invertebrate conservation.

  9. Data resource: Invertebrate Survey of Selected East Ross Lochs, Streams and Rivers, 1986/87

The lochs and rivers surveyed are only a small fraction of those present; but, they reflect the different types of water body found within the area. East Ross has a geology dominated by Old Red Sandstones which is reflected by moderately chemically rich lochs and rivers with correspondingly varied and diverse invertebrate faunas. As only a few lochs and rivers were surveyed no gradings on a conservation basis have been given.

  10. Data resource: Invertebrate surveys of various ponds in Scotland between 2010 and 2015

Records collected from invertebrate surveys at various freshwater sites across Scotland. Data is stored by Buglife Scotland (www.buglife.org.uk) and specimens from many of the surveys are stored by Buglife. Data from previous surveys in 1983 at Tailend Moss has been digitised (ref. Richardson, B.A. and Shiells, B.M. 1984. Pond ecology - Tailend Moss Nature Reserve, West Lothian. Forth Naturalist and Historian 8, 25-40.)

  11. Data resource: Invertebrates (except insects), Outer Hebrides

All records of invertebrates, excluding insects, recorded up to 31 December 2019. Data includes records collected directly from individual recorders, as well as those collected by the Highland Biological Recording Group (HBRG), including all those held on the database at IMAG Please refer to OHBR website (www.ohbr.org.uk) or contact admin@ohbr.org.uk

  12. Data resource: Invertebrates - Rivers for Conservation - SNH/SEPA

A list of aquatic invertebrates being used by SNH and SEPA for their pilot Rivers for Conservation evaluation.

  13. Data resource: Invertebrates of conservation interest associated with flowing water in Scotland

    As title

  14. Data resource: INVERT_SR

  15. Data resource: Iona EPS

  16. Data resource: IOW Natural History & Archaeological Society Marine Invertebrate Records 1853- 2011

Records of cnidaria, decadopa and echinoderms for shores and inshore waters in the vicinity of the Isle of Wight. Some data is historical but new sightings are being added to the dataset. Therefore it is not yet complete.

  17. Data resource: IOW Natural History & Archaeological Society Marine Records

This dataset comes from fish records from around the Isle of Wight. Some data is historical but new sightings are being added to the dataset. Therefore it is not yet complete.

  18. Data resource: iRecord Surveys

This dataset contains Natural England survey records transferred from iRecord. It is regularly updated to reflect additional data entry to iRecord and updates to record Verification Status information. Survey data may originate from projects, contracts, donated data, staff survey activities, or other sources, and may include coastal data as well as terrestrial.

  19. Data resource: Irish Otter Dataset

BRC records of Irish mammals. Confined to records of Otter (<i>Lutra lutra</i>) extracted from CHAPMAN, P.J. and CHAPMAN L.L. (1982) Otter Survey of Ireland, Vincent Wildlife Trust. These records were extracted in BRC from the above publication and are included here as a test dataset. The original records were professionally-collected as simple 10km square data on parts of the Irish grid. There is a notable geographic distribution of records by 50km square due to the collection methods that are described in the publication.

  20. Data resource: Irish Whale and Dolphin Group

Cetacean sightings from within the Northern Ireland marine zone reported to Irish Whale and Dolphin Group. Records provided at a 50km resolution
