    Recording Invasive Species Counts (www.nonnativespecies.org/recording/) was launched in 2010 and includes on-line recording for 19 species including: Signal Crayfish, Pacifastacus leniusculus https://secure.fera.defra.gov.uk/nonnativespecies/factsheet/factsheet.cfm?speciesId=2498 The Signal Crayfish is designated as an ALERT species and also within RISC. The data is predominantly provided by members of the public but records are verified from photos by designated experts. The recording form includes the option to provide abundance and whether the individual is dead or alive (or unknown).

    Beetle records from Sussex shared by various recorders, most notably Peter Hodge - the Sussex County Recorder for Beetles - who has contributed over 65,000 records to this dataset and invested huge amounts of time in verifying the Sussex beetle records. Grant funding from Natural England enabled SxBRC to conduct a large-scale consultation with Sussex beetle recorders and secure the necessary permissions to publish beetle recorders' records at full resolution under a CC-BY licence. This dataset does not include ALL Sussex beetle records held by SxBRC, only those records were we have appropriate permission to share the records under a CC-BY licence, in accordance with the NBN guidance for adding historic data to the NBN Atlas. If you have recorded beetles in Sussex and would like your records to appear in this dataset, please contact SxBRC.

    Annual monitoring of the nationally rare arctic alpines Koenigia islandica, Iceland Purslane, and Sedum villosum, Hairy Stonecrop, on the NTS property of Burg, Isle of Mull from 2011 to 2016. Annual counts of individual plants are conducted within 65 pre-defined 1x1m quadrats on one day in July/early August each year when the plants are in flower. Zero abundance records for individual quadrats are included.
